The YR high-voltage wound-rotor three-phase asynchronous motor (frame H355–H630) connects its rotor to external starting resistors via slip rings, delivering high starting torque at low starting current. It suits sites where supply capacity is insufficient for direct cage-motor starting, long or frequent starting, and applications needing small-range speed adjustment.
Rated voltage 6kV / 10kV. Specify model, mounting (IMB3), rated power, protection, cooling and insulation class. Belt drives are forbidden for 2-pole and 4-pole motors unless agreed with the manufacturer.
