The Y / Y2 general-purpose three-phase asynchronous motor is XIMA's most mature and proven power platform. With a totally-enclosed fan-cooled structure and optimised electromagnetic design, it offers stable operation, easy maintenance and broad parts interchangeability. It is the most common drive for general equipment such as machine tools, pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors, printing and food machinery.
When ordering, please specify the model, rated power & speed, voltage class, mounting type and protection degree. Belt drives are not recommended for 2-pole motors ≥5.5kW and 4-pole motors ≥37kW; coupling direct drive is preferred. Special requirements (dual shaft extension, reversed terminal box, tropical / anti-corrosion versions) should be confirmed with the factory engineering team in advance.
