Efficient Motor Retrofit for CW Pumps at a Coastal Plant

The plant’s 4×1000 MW units ran circulating-water pumps on legacy motors with high auxiliary power. Pumps are large-flow, year-round loads where any stop cuts output.

XIMA replaced them with YXKK efficient HV motors plus optimized starting/control. Duty was re-checked to keep high efficiency and smooth start across flow range.

CW-system energy fell ~11% with notable annual savings and lower auxiliary power. XIMA provided full-cycle service from selection and manufacturing to commissioning and long-term O&M.
