Multi-Drive DC System for High-Speed Paper Machines

Wire, press and dryer sections need coordinated multi-drive with tight speed/tension. Long high-speed runs demand good dynamics and easy service.

XIMA used Z4 and Z DC motors for each paper-machine section. Fine speed control holds constant tension and even thickness.
